Video Calibration

Many consumers ask if ISF calibration is really needed on today's HDTV units. The bottom line is yes. A professionally calibrated $2000 HDTV can look as good, if not better, as a non-calibrated $4000 set.

Video calibration, based on ISF imaging standards, improves image detail, color and clarity. It makes viewing more entertaining and that's what it's all about. And of course, having the best picture in the neighborhood is nice too. Give us a call today and see the difference.

We're ISF Certified

The Imaging Science Foundation (ISF) is the industry leader in promoting quality standards for High Definition television imaging. Their certification ensures that ISF-trained technicians can properly calibrate video displays that meet the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE) standards for motion picture cinema.

Our customers are realizing how enjoyable accurate color renditions and natural flesh tones are in their home theaters. High Definition television displays are capable of delivering some amazing pictures. However, all units require professional calibration to accurately display them as they were engineered by the motion picture industry.

ChaseRiver uses Sony, Sencore, Gretag-Macbeth, and AccuPel instruments to properly calibrate the complex electronics inside digital displays. Our test equipment, professional calibration DVDs, and software is some of the very latest in technology which allows us to calibrate even the newest HDTV displays and projectors with extreme accuracy.
